Bios Ephemerata
Digital Images by Jo Pitchford – Sculptural Work by Amelia Rowe
Both bodies of work capture and freeze frame the most fleeting and momentary aspects of life; the digital images by Pitchford encapsulating the transition between moments of being – of life and death, while the taxidermy sculptures of Rowe explore aspects of evolutionary adaptation and changes caused by human intervention through processes such as selective breeding and genetic engineering.
